Strength Training

Strength training is an essential component to a workout regimen. As we age, our muscle mass naturally diminishes. Strength training can help increase muscle mass and reduce body fat. Muscle fitness enhances joint health and is responsible for your posture and stability. It’s a great way to develop strong bones and boost your stamina, which you need to be able to perform prolonged activities and create better balance to help you maintain your independence as you age.

Strength training can be performed in many different ways with or without equipment. Through the use of body weight exercises, tubing, bands, dumbbells, medicine ball, etc., I will design a program that fits your goals. When I am working with clients, I like to incorporate cardio, muscle strength, endurance, and flexibility to create a well-rounded program through interval and circuit training.
