Initial Consultation

The initial consultation is free. We will discuss your fitness goals and any health concerns. Whether your goals are to lose weight, gain strength, remain healthy, improve posture or performance, I will customize your plan accordingly.

Fitness with Friends

Bring a friend to your session. This workout is best for friends who perform at a similar fitness level.

Online Training

I offer online training for those who are not able to meet in person, but feel strongly about staying fit and healthy. This program is suitable for all fitness levels. An initial meeting is necessary, in person or by phone, to conduct fitness testing and discuss goals, so I am able to develop a weekly, customized workout for you to follow at home, in the gym, or outdoors. I will create a program that fits your needs and with minimal equipment, if necessary. Weekly phone consultations are offered to make sure you are staying on track and to answer any questions you may have. Video demonstrations of the exercises will be available, along with nutrition support.

Group Fitness

Group Fitness classes are held at the Descanso Town Hall in Descanso on Viejas Grade Road.

6 Week Fitness Challenge

This package is designed for those wanting to make a serious lifestyle change, create healthy habits, increase energy levels, and gain an appreciation for health and fitness. Whether you are gearing up for a special occasion or want to increase your fitness level, this program is for you. It is a challenging 6 week program that will require consistency and dedication.

Fitness FAQ

What if I don't have time to exercise
an hour a day?

If you don’t have time to fit in an hour workout, break it up into 10 or 20 minute increments. Also, don’t discount the extra “intentional exercise” you can be adding to your day. Intentional exercise is parking in the farthest spot in a parking lot, taking the stairs instead of the elevator, walking on your lunch break.

Why has my weight loss plateaued?

It is important to change up your workout routine. Your body is a well-oiled machine and its goal is to reach a balance. The body becomes accustomed to the exercises you are performing, so by cross training and changing up your routine, it keeps your body guessing, forcing it to find that balance once again. Diet is also a huge factor. Sometimes we don’t realize how much we are eating or if we are making the best choices.

How often should I work out?

The minimum amount of exercise prescribed for an individual is 20 minutes a day, three times a week. In order to see increased results and benefit from the exercise you are doing, you need to increase your frequency, duration, and intensity. It also depends on the goals you have set and your fitness level. 

Where do I start if I have never exercised?

You should always start out slow with a low-impact, basic exercise routine. Your body has to get used to the new stress you are putting on it. If you start too hard and too fast, it can leave you feeling overexerted and may cause injury. Safety always comes first.

Hiring a trainer can help you reach your fitness goals. Trainers are there to guide and motivate you in case you lose the willpower to push yourself.
