1 (15 oz) can garbanzo beans (drained and rinsed)

2 to 4 tbsp water

2 tbsp extra virgin olive oil

1 tbsp lemon juice

1 to 4 cloves garlic (depending on how spicy you like it)

¾ tsp ground cumin

¼ to ½ tsp salt

Add all ingredients into a food processor and process until smooth and creamy. You can add cherry tomatoes and other seasonings for taste, or just keep it simple. This is a great alternative to the store-bought hummus with additives and preservatives, and I like that I can make it my own.
